You can delete your Plenty of Fish (POF) account by logging in to My Profile and accessing the Delete Account link. If you want to temporarily stop using the dating service, you can hide your profile by accessing the Profile Visibility setting from the Settings page of your account. Make sure to cancel any paid subscription you have before you cancel your account.
Plenty of Fish is a dating site that allows members to create profiles and search for potential matches. Discontinuing the app does not delete uploaded photographs, nor does it terminate users’ accounts. If you no longer want to use the service, make sure you deal with your account before you stop using the application.
Delete POF Account Guide
To delete your account, you must log in to your account and click on the “Delete my profile” link. Do not attempt to delete any other user’s profiles or data. Deleting an account means that all your connections, conversations, and other data in Plenty of Fish will be deleted as well.
- To delete your account, visit Open Plenty of Fish in your web browser and log in if you haven’t already done so.
- At the top of the page, click My Profile and then click My Profile again.
- In the Delete Account section, click Delete Account.
- Complete the short questionnaire about why you are deleting your pof account.
- Deleting your profile does not invalidate the subscription you purchased, so be sure to do that before you delete your profile.
Hide Plenty of Fish Profile
If you want to stop using the Plenty of Fish app and website but still want to keep your profile active, you can switch to a “hide” account. While your public profile will be hidden from other users. You’ll still be able to access your personal information such as your messages and search history.
- To hide your profile from viewing in Open Plenty of Fish,
- click the My Profile link to expand it.
- In the Visibility section, select Hide Profile from the drop-down menu.
How To Cancel Plenty of Fish (POF) Subscription:
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your pof account. The subscription fee is not prorated, so you will continue to have access to the subscription benefits through the end of the subscription period you’ve paid for, and you cannot get a refund for unused time.
- Cancel your Plenty of Fish subscription by signing in to your account page and clicking Premium at the top of the page.
- Select Click here to let your upgrade expire.
- If you subscribed to Plenty of Fish using the service provided by Apple or Android, cancel using that same device.
Cancel Plenty of Fish Subscription on iPhone:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Tap your Apple ID name at the top of the page.
- Tap Subscriptions and scroll down to find your Plenty of Fish subscription.
- Tap the red “X” in front of it, then tap Cancel Subscription.
How To Cancel Plenty of Fish (POF) Subscription on Google Play:
- To cancel your Plenty of Fish subscription. Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
- Select Payment & subscriptions and then tap Subscriptions.
- Tap your Plenty of Fish subscription box, scroll to the bottom and choose Cancel Subscription.
